Description

Immerse yourself in salt mountain and follow in the footsteps of the former miners. The TrekkMines route begins with a foot ascent through the Fondement forest to the Coulat gallery.

Underground, you will discover the hand-hewn mining galleries of the 18th century – from Graffenried to the fascinating Chamber of the Wheel.

The return path leads down the Great Staircase with its 734 steps carved into the rock, before you reach the surface again with the miner's train.

An authentic experience between effort and discovery.
