Every year, the association Léman sans Frontière publishes a 68-page tourist guide. This presents the soul of the region with, at its heart, the largest freshwater reservoir in western Europe. At the crossroads between France and Italy, Lake Geneva has always been at the heart of historical matters. Surrounded by the Swiss cantons of Geneva, Vaud, Valais and Fribourg and by the French départements of Ain and Haute-Savoie, it is the centre of a dynamic tourist region.
