21 Hobbies Glacier 3000, Les Diablerets-Gstaad
From the Pillon Pass, the cable car goes up to 3,000 metres in 15 minutes. At the summit, the view of the eternal snow and the mountain chains is spectacular. Further down, the valleys of the French-speaking region and the Bernese Oberland area are also fascinating.
The Alpine Coaster is the world’s highest bobsleigh track. The one-kilometre descent includes a loop, ten curves, six waves, three jumps and two bridges. The Alpine Coaster operates from May to the end of September. If you’d like to have a unique experience, try this crazy descent – it will get your adrenaline pumping straight away!
The excursions on the glacier with the “Snow Bus” and the dog sledding teams are extremely inviting. Visitors of all ages appreciate the walks on the glacier and the look-out point, from where you can see the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc, among other peaks.
The “Peak Walk by Tissot“, the first and till now only suspension bridge in the world to connect two peaks, is free of charge for Glacier 3000 visitors and is open year round.
