La Maison du Located near the mountain pastures, La Maison du Gruyère invites you to discover the king of cheeses, Gruyère AOP. Whether you come with family, friends, or on your own, La Maison du Gruyère offers you a nature getaway and reveals its manufacturing secrets.

Description

La Maison du Gruyère is a demonstration cheese dairy where you can discover all the secrets of how Gruyère AOP cheese is made. Twice a day, farmers deliver their milk.
Under the watchful eye of visitors, the master cheesemaker produces up to 48 wheels of Gruyère AOP every day. The cheese factory is equipped with four 4,800-liter vats and a cellar with space to mature 7,000 wheels.

Localisation

The Maison du Gruyère is located 5 minutes from the Bulle motorway exit, heading towards Gruyères on the H189.
It can be reached by train from Gruyères station on the TPF Bulle-Montbovon line and is located opposite the station.

Reservations are required for group visits at least 48 hours in advance.

Pets

Pets allowed : No

Small dogs are allowed in the exhibition, provided they are carried. They are not allowed in the cheese factory.
