Host portrait : Born in Chauny in the Aisne department in 1973, Sébastien LESAGE went to Le Touquet lycée to prepare for a BAC in hotel and catering management, before switching to pastry-making in 1995, where he obtained his C.A.P. in pastry-making as an independent candidate.
In 1997, he joined the Michelin-starred Vendôme restaurant at the Château de Divonne-Les-Bains as head pastry chef, then in 1999 became head of desserts and small cakes at the Cartier confectionery in Versoix, Geneva.
He took part in a number of competitions (Swiss Dessert Championship, Europain Trophy in Romorantin, Challenge des Mains d'Or in La Roch-Sur-Foron) before trying his luck at the World Chocolate Masters or the World Pastry Cup, where he was even a finalist in the French selection in Lyon in 2009.
In 2001, Sébastien and his wife Monja opened a pastry and chocolate shop in Annemasse.
In 2015, he crossed the border to Geneva and set up a cake bar where the desserts are literally staged for tasting. You can choose from a wide range of macaroons, classic or more original desserts, a dozen ice cream sundaes or a wide range of chocolate bonbons. -
