Macoleptique
Watercolor, sculpture and painting are all media that allow this artist to compose powerful works, strong satirical messages that play on the inconsistencies of our society.
A good dose of cynicism, sarcastic staging, bright colors give his paintings a fantastical dimension. Marcoleptique distinguishes himself by an incisive perception of the outside world that serves his painting with efficiency.
Currently he proposes with "Histoires de taches" to go through his universe by allowing each one to project his own imaginary. Old books and forgotten scores come back to life and become intimate objects, strangely recognized, vehicles of sometimes buried feelings. The series "Geographical stories", extension of the previous one, invites to go through this new
geography, leaving aside the known world to embrace this universe where the continents move with a powerful humanity.

Eric Geffroy
The "act of creation" that I have practiced since childhood as a parallel to my life, imposed itself following a redundancy in 2002. This triggering event decided me to create full time to propose my "mechanical reveries" to the public. The workshop was born in a garage in 2003, it has developed from lean-to basement lent by friends until its installation in 2017
