14 Culture Railway Museum Blonay-Chamby

If you like railroads and museums, Blonay-Chamby has got them both. Take an excursion into the past over three kilometers of trestle, tunnel and viaduct. All the equipment was built between 1874 and 1935, on metric tracks, both steam and electricity powered, in a stunning setting overlooking Lake Geneva.
Departures steam trains from Blonay:
11h05 (Sun. morning) - 14h05 - 15h30 - 17h05.
Departure electric powered from Blonay:
10h05 - 11h05 (Sat. morning) - 12h05 - 13h05 - 14h45 - 16h05 - 17h45.

The Blonay-Chamby Railway Museum is a living museum run entirely by volunteers. Trains run on Saturdays and Sundays, from May till October. Vintage steam engines or old electric locomotives pull carriages along the short steep 3 km line between Blonay and Chamby in a spectacular setting. At the Chaulin-Chamby depot, the museum shows visitors what is probably the best and the most representative collection of metric-gauge railway equipment in Europe.
